This page explains the technical services and add-ons available with selected products sold on VoIPandSims.com.

Setup & Onboarding is mandatory for the following product families:

  • Cloud Mobile
  • Digital Landline
  • Phone System

This is a one-off charge and applies in addition to the service charge.

The applicable Setup & Onboarding charge is shown on the product page and in the contract documents.

SIM-only products do not include a Setup & Onboarding helper charge.

Where a physical SIM is selected, delivery charges apply in line with our Delivery Information page.

What Setup & Onboarding May Include

Depending on the service ordered, Setup & Onboarding may include:

  • account and service provisioning
  • initial service setup
  • platform configuration
  • user or extension setup
  • basic onboarding preparation
  • standard remote setup activity related to the ordered service

The exact scope depends on the product ordered.

🌐 Remote Configuration – Customer-Supplied Handsets & ATAs

We’ll remotely configure compatible third-party devices (≤1 hour; typically 30–45 mins).

The customer is responsible for compatibility — see your Contract Pack for supported models.

Important caveats:

  • Maximum of 1 hour configuration time per device (typically 30–45 minutes)
  • We may be unable to configure certain third-party models due to manufacturer restrictions or unsupported firmware.
  • More cost-effective when using hardware purchased from us, as compatibility and setup are guaranteed.

🔧 Preconfiguration of Handsets & ATAs

We’ll configure handsets/ATAs purchased from us so they’re ready to plug in.

Key points:

  • Only available for hardware purchased directly from us
  • Configuration matches your VoIP service settings

📞 Number Porting Services

Where offered, number porting can be requested as part of an order or as a related add-on.

📱 Mobile SIM Porting

Mobile SIM porting is available on eligible voice SIM products, including:

  • triple-cut SIM variants
  • eSIM variants where offered

Data-only SIMs do not support number porting.

For mobile SIM ports, we may need:

  • a PAC
  • a PAC expiry date
  • other information needed to complete the transfer

📱 Cloud Mobile Porting

Cloud Mobile porting is available on eligible Cloud Mobile products, including:

  • OmniCall CloudNumber
  • Omni Communicator S Mobile

For Cloud Mobile ports, we may need:

  • a PAC
  • a PAC expiry date
  • other information needed to complete the transfer

☎️ Digital Landlines & Phone Systems Number Porting

For porting of landline numbers from eligible Digital Landline or Phone System services, we may need:

  • a signed or approved Letter of Authority (LOA or cLOA) — securely completed via e-sign.
  • current provider details
  • number list and service details
  • address or account matching details
  • Porting Pre-Order Validation is recommended to maximise the potential for a successful port.

Important disclaimer: Digital Landlines & Phone Systems Port approval depends entirely on the accuracy of the information you provide. Incorrect or incomplete details may cause a failed port request, for which you will still be liable — and the porting fee will apply again for re-submission. To avoid porting failure, Pre-order validation is recommended (see details below).

We check your details against your current provider before submitting the port to minimise rejection risks.

Pre-Order Validation applies only in the landline porting context.

It does not apply to:

  • Mobile SIM Porting
  • Cloud Mobile Porting

📦 SIM Replacement

Replacement triple-cut SIM for lost or damaged cards. eSIM replacement is free (delivered by email).

📡 eSIM Delivery

Delivered instantly via email with activation instructions.

📈 Out-of-Bundle Call/Data Vouchers – £25/ £50 / £75 / £100 + VAT

Use instant top-ups for any services not included in your standard plan. This covers calls or SMS to out-of-bundle destinations (such as non-geographic, premium rate, and international numbers), roaming data for our SIM-only products, and sending SMS from Omni Communicator S Digital Landline & Phone systems and Omni Communicator S Mobile Cloud Mobile Phone Systems.

Important Emergency Services Note

All VoIP and mobile services rely on power and network availability. During a power cut or broadband/mobile outage, calls to 999/112 may not work. See our Emergency Services Policy for full details.

How to Add These to Your Order

Setup & Onboarding - Mandatory Setup & Onboarding helper items are added automatically to the cart where applicable.

Number Porting - Number Porting options (including Pre-Order Validation) can be added to your order directly from the cart. We will contact you following receipt of your order to confirm porting details and to request any information required for completion of the port.

Installation Services - Remote Configuration of Customer-Supplied Handsets & ATAs or
Preconfiguration of Handsets & ATAs supplied by us can be added by browsing to the Technical Services & Add-ons shopping page.

Out-of-Bundle Vouchers - These can be added by browsing to the Technical Services & Add-ons shopping page.

Click “Add to Cart” next to each service you need. Complete your purchase — these add-ons will appear on your invoice alongside your SIM/VoIP plan.
