Want to keep your business number when you switch? With VoIP and SIMs, you can easily transfer (or “port”) your existing mobile number—just follow the steps below.
A PAC Code (Porting Authorisation Code) is a unique 9-character code you get from your current mobile provider. It allows you to move your number safely and securely to a new network, like VoIP and SIMs.
For most UK mobile networks, getting your PAC code is quick and free:
- Text “PAC” to 65075 from the number you want to move.
(You’ll get your PAC code by SMS within seconds. This works for EE, O2, Three, Vodafone, and most UK networks.) - Or, call your current provider’s customer service.
Your PAC code is valid for 30 days.
